The new Accept album Stalingrad will be released on 04/06/2012.

According to their release: 'Stalingrad' is a no compromise album from start to finish, without a filler track anywhere to be found, sticking to the winning combination of working with producer Andy Sneap.

Accept guitar player Wolf Hoffmann says "Because of the huge success of 'Blood Of The Nations', the expectations are very high for the new album."

Holy crap!

Carroll Shelby marks his 50 years working with Ford, by introducing an 800-hp Super Snake.

That's right, the GT500 'Super Snake' is available in 650, 750 or 800 horsepower configuration as a coupe or convertible. Wow.

And you better bring your wallet. Based on the Ford Shelby GT500, the anniversary package begins at $60k not including the price of the base car.

It's branding the anniversary edition Shelby Ford Mustangs as GTS, GT350 and Super Snakes.

Each killer machine will have special seat stitching and rear emblems, all indicating the silver anniversary.

From the website: To try to play to the collector market Shelby says it will only turn out 50 white and 50 black Mustangs, both with gold stripes.

I'm sure metal fans will dubb this version of the GT-SS, the 'White Snake'.

Harley-Davidson unveiled 2 new motorcycles Tuesday, the Seventy-Two and the Softail Slim.

Harley officials describe the 72 this way: "In creating the Seventy-Two, we were also inspired by the vibe of the early chopper era".

"Those bikes were colorful and chromed, but also narrow and stripped down to the essentials. You look at period examples and they are almost as simple as a bicycle."

"It’s a custom style that’s very particular to America and that California scene".

From its hard candy, red flake paint and mini-ape hangers, to its narrow whitewall tires, the 72 is a respectful nod to that era. Wow, it's as if Harley is finally listening to it's customers.

As for the Slim, it has a trimmed front fender, Hollywood bars and a narrow rear end. Slim and trim indeed.

Harley says: "It has iconic style that recalls classic custom bobbers of the 1950s".

It's simply a Softail on a diet. Hopefully it also comes with a slimmed down price tag.

Garage Company

A buddy of mine was in California recently and paid a visit to a long time custom bike builder and former bike racer. No, not that custom bike builder in Long Beach.

This is one of his sick builds. The name of the shop he was at, is Garage Company. It's owned and operated by Yoshinobu Kosaka AKA: Yoshi.

This wicked motorcycle shop began life as a hobby, that grew out of control.

Yoshi began collecting bike when he was a dental tech. in Japan. After moving to the States, he continued collecting motorcycles. He was into Kawasaki H1Rs, Ducati 750SS, Norton production racers, MV Agustas and BMWs. In 1986 Yoshi started racing AHRMA.

Yellow Devil gear exchange has a great article on Yoshi.

The shop is a glorified museum. You name it, it's here - if it has anything to do with the world of vintage motorcycle racing.

Now to his custom bikes. This bobber, in my humble opinion, is one of the sweetest of em' all.

Mind you, I would've eliminated the front fender and given it a 3" belt drive.

Yoshi's team has crafted 40 plus choppers and/or bobbers, and with each build they seem to raise the bar in the ultra-competitive world of custom motorcycles.

And then... there's this scoot.

Yep, you may (or may not) recognize it from ET or TMZ or from one of the many other Hollywood TV shows/rags out there.

Its soccer star David Beckham's ride.

I love the old and tattered look with faux rust, exposed welds and vintage wiring. Absolutely rad!

Dave's red pants... not so much.

I don't know that much about the company except for the fact they are certified frame builders and most, if not all of their builds, are one-off .

Remembering Dimebag

On this date Thursday December 8, we mark the 7-year anniversary of the death of "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott. The legendary Pantera and Damageplan guitarist was shot to death onstage during a Damageplan show at the Alrosa Villa club in Columbus, Ohio in 2004.

The day after Dimebag's murder, his brother's Vinnie Paul released the following statement:

"With all his greatness and accomplishments on the guitar, Dime will be missed more for his giving personality, charisma, caring for others, love and most of all his HEART!! Darryl Smyers: There is a wide demographic of people who go to hear the band live. What does it take to appeal to fans of many different ages?

Jason Hook: I think it comes down to songs, personality and performance. There is a lot there for everybody. If you are a drummer, we have a star drummer. If you like hotshot guitar playing, we have that. If you are into bands that are angry, we are certainly that. But we also have melodies and choruses. There is a lot there for just about everybody. We are the eBay of metal.

Build Off? Nah, Rip Off!

This is total bull $hit! Anyone who knows anything about motorcycles, (or has half a brain in their head) will see this upcoming television special for what it really is: a desperate ratings cash grab.

Discovery Channel has pitted the father/son team of Paul Teutul and Paul Jr (from American Chopper) against Jesse James (of West Coast Choppers) in a bike build off.

It's called Chopper Live: American Chopper - the Build Off. Ha, more like American Crapper: the blatant rip off!

Seriously. Lets just lay the facts out there. Paul Sr. is a tin brasher by trade and originally owned Orange County Ironworks, a fabrication shop.

The Teutuls have never built a bike from the ground up (they do some fabrication, but it is limited to specific builds). They order all the parts they need: buying frames, engines and tins and then have their hired minions slap em' together. Yes, they do 'help' but it's limited to 'on camera' time. Junior has skills, but in no way can they be compared to that of James. He's not in the same league. Period.

And say what you will about Jesse James, people don't like the fact he cheated on Sandra.

His private life aside... the man is one of, if not the best, custom bike builder/designer/fabricator on the planet. Period. Personally I'd rather watch a rerun of 'Shark Week'.

Yeah, I may have seen it before but at least these blood thirsty sharks are real, as opposed to the money hungry impostors after ratings and another opportunity to sell DVD's and bobble heads.

Motörhead and Megadeth will bring it to metalheads across the continent when they headline the latest instalment of Megadeth's Gigantour festival, alongside Lacuna Coil and Volbeat.

The tour will last for a little over a month, stretching from late January through February. Nine of the 24 dates are here in Canada.

Gigantour was originally founded in 2005, and this marks the first time Megadeth have brought its travelling metal fest on the road since 2008.

Megadeth are using the return of Gigantour to promote their album TH1RT3EN, which came out November 1, through Roadrunner Record.

Hi name is Scott Witherspoon, and this is his kick ass 1979 Yamaha XS650.

The fine folks at Lowbrow Customs spotted Scott's 79' on xs650chopper.com and featured it on their website. Why do I give a rats ass?

Well, the bike features a David Bird hardtail on it (4" stretch, 2" drop looped style), of which they sell at Lowbrow. Kool, but there's more. Scott is from my neck of the woods and when I see a bike prominently featured (in not one but two websites), I'm gonna' give the man props!

Mother Fucker! Now I'm really feeling old. Motörhead's album Orgasmatrön is 25 years old today!

From Wikipedia: The albums working title was Ridin' with the Driver and was later changed to Orgasmatrön, but it was too late for Joe Petagno to change the cover art and the train design was used.

As well as alluding to the original name of the album, Joe Petagno also commented on the concept behind the album cover: Lemmy was living on a houseboat then, and collecting train models. He said, "You know, Joseph, I want a fucking train. It seemed weird to me... [laughs] but, yet again it worked".

The preliminary sketch had the Orgasmatrön train going in the opposite direction, but Petagno decided to turn it so it was going out of the picture rather than coming into it. "It gave me a lot of trouble, because [of] trying to fit the head in front of the train with this cow scoop. But it worked in the end".

Orgasmatrön is the only full Motörhead album to feature Pete Gill on the drums.

Gill (far right) also played on the four new tracks recorded for the 1984 'No Remorse' compilation album.

OK, when I first saw the title Sportster Bagger, I thought that's an oxymoron or a misnomer at best. Well take a look at this, yep it's a Bagger and believe it or not it's a factory XL!

Absolutely sick! This is the handy work of Doug Wozny of Dougz Custom Paint and Fabrication.

Doug did all the fabrication on the XL, called The Pro-Tour S Kit, in his Wisconsin shop. Check out his blog for a more detailed explanation of all the modifications.

From his website: "Doug is selling and doing the installation of this kit at his facility and plans are underway to offer it as a weld-in kit to qualified shops. The current pricing, not including the cost of a donor bike, is $14,500.00."

If you're heading to Sturgis, you may see this creation on the road.

Doug will have his unique Bagger on display at the FrameLock booth. Makes sense, cause' they may need to lock this puppy up, given the interest it'll be receiving.

Can't wait to get the Motörheadster out of storage!

However, before I hit the road I have some minor repairs to take care of. And I'm a little pi$$ed thet I've gotta buy a new gator or fork boot as I call em'. Yep, another one... and the same side. This is the third boot I've replaced on the right fork, in 2 years.

I can only assume it happened because of the bandanna I tie around the lower legs at the bottom of the boots. I guess it was too tight and the gator wasn't able to recoil far enough and ripped.

Why would I tie a bandanna around the forks you ask. Well, if you're not runnin' a front fender you need somthin' to keep the rain out of your face, on those stormy rides. Worked like a charm... I called it my Bandanna Fender.

I did chat with my local H-D dealer about the problem. They suggested I use a lubricant on the fork tube to allow the gator to better slide on the tube. They're only $14 a piece, but after you buy 3 of em', they're getting a little pricey.

Tokyo Motorcycle Show Cancelled

The 2011 Tokyo Motorcycle Show has been cancelled.

It really comes as no surprise, in the wake
of the devastation left behind by the earthquake
and tsunami.

The show was scheduled for March 25-27.

However, the Japanese GP has been rescheduled
from April 24 to October 2.

Hopefully sunny days will return to the land of the
rising sun.

This could be one of the gayest things I've seen in years! Woe, woe hold on there, don't get yer panties in a bunch. I have no probs if you own a Harley-Davidson or an iPhone... just don't combine the two, if you do it's gay.

This is what you get. A phone (thanks to a downloadable app) that acts as a speedometer, tach, engine temperature gauge, signal indicators and lets you know what gear you're in. Yep gay!

It's called the GaugeFace app. The unit plugs into the ECU and the cost of the app and connectors is about $250 Canadian. Still gay!

It'll work on all Harley's since roughly 2001, with EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) based Delphi ECU's. Delphi or I'd say it's... gay!

Want to watch a video describing the unit in detail, I didn't think so! BECAUSE IT'S GAY!

I'm still hung over... my clothes smell like day old booze and cigarettes... and I can't hear a f#cking thing! In other words, wow... what a concert! Right out of the gates, the loudest band in the world got down to business. And when your name is Motörhead business is good!

Am I surprised, not in the least. The Snaggletoöthed War Pigs have been entertaining low life dregs like myself for decades... that's right decades! The pictures may be from a different venue on the current 'The World is Yours' world tour, but this is how the set and the boys looked in the Peg as well.

Even though Lemmy Kilmister, one of rock and roll’s most infamous bad-asses, has been traipsing around the world fronting a band that has built it's reputation on sex, drug and rock and roll for 36 years, the ol' man hasn't missed a beat.

I may be biased (given the name of this blog, my motorcycle and the fact my album/CD collection resembles a Motörhead shrine), but this show may have been the best one I've seen. No $hit!

The metal legend... oops God, and his mates, Mikkey Dee and Phil Campbell nonchalantly strolled out onto the stage, growled “We are Motörhead, n' we play rock n’ roll,” and then launched right into 'We Are Motörhead', the first of 19 rapid-fire, in-your-face bone crushing tunes.

I was at the bar, pounding doubles for the first two bands; Valient Thorr and Clutch. The lead singer of VT (pictured above) invoked an image of a topless Santa Claus in his rebellious years before he went gray. Yep, the red pants did it for me. I couldn't get the thought of ol' St. Nick working in a rock and roll bands in the off months to pay the bills. Too funny!

Sorry I digress, back to the funny farm! This pictorial view, is very similar to the view I had. Row 13, seats 3 and 4. Right in the middle of the theatre, close to the isle (perfect access to get more booze). The crowd was a mix of young and old. As usual, there were a number of punk rockers sporting deadly Mohawks (the points of their spiked hair would take a guys eye out, they would). Gotta' love punk rockers!

The boys took a couple of beer breaks, but for all intents and purpose, they were like a frickn' runaway train! Thundering through the set list, like a bat out a' hell! Phil had his solo after 'Rock Out (with your cock out)'... Mikkey's drum solo was after 'In The Name of Tragedy'.

In all my years on this god-forsaken shit hole of a planet, and all the bands I've seen (and with all due respect to Phil 'Philthy Animal' Taylor) I've never seen a skin basher who is so 'into' every song he plays.

There is no quit in the guy! The former Dokken and King Diamond drummer is all hair, sticks and noise behind that dual base Sonor kit. F#CKN' AMAZING!

Sadly, the night seemed to whiz by! Before I knew it, they were playing 'The Ace of Spades'. And yes, they closed with 'Overkill'. When will I get a chance to see the Snaggletöothed hellions again? Don't know. But I'm thankful I went... f#ck the way things are going, Lemmy may out live me! \m/

Ladies and dirt bags I'm totally f#cking stoked! I've got my Motörhead tickets in hand and I can barely contain my jism!

Yes the Snaggletöothed hellions will be playing the River City this weekend in support of their newest release 'The World Is Yours'.

A good friend of mine was lucky enough to get her hands on a limited edition collectors pack and has been rubbing my face in it ever since. She saw the boys when they stopped in Cow Town.

Clutch is on the bill, but I've never heard of em'. According to their bio they play heavy metal, hard rock and stoner rock. Seriously... WTF is stoner rock? I mean, isn't that a reference to a metal ballad? They actually have their own category now. Lame!

The other band on the ticket is Valient Thorr Yep... never heard of em' either.

Truth be told... I don't give a rats a$$, cause I'll be in the line up for alcohol until Lemmy, Phil and Mikkey hit the stage.
