Oh Fack, we got a FIRE!
OK, You know you’re having a bad day when.
Not only does this guys KZ-750 bursts into flames just after filling it up, but when this moron goes back to inspect the damage he dumps his second bike entering the station's lot.

Cover Your Ears
So, it sounds like Lemmy Kilmister and the boys are considering recording an album of covers as a follow up to 'The World Is Yours'.
You're probably thinking (as I was), I've heard a few covers by the Snaggletöothed hellions like the classic 'Louie Louie' and newer stuff like Metallica's 'Enter Sandman'. But there must be more, and there are more... many more.
I did a quick search and found a website, the Covers Project that lists all the cover songs a band officially records.
Check the link, because I'm actually surprised at the number of covers Motörhead has recorded. One of my favourite covers from Lemmy is his version of AC/DC's 'It's A Long Way To The Top'.
Here's a link to the album (which until recently I never knew existed) called 'The World's Greatest AC/DC Tribute' from Tributes of Metal.
So, how did the discussion of cover song come about, well here's an interview Jeb Wright of Classic Rock Revisited did with Motörhead's front-man Lem, chronicling the idea.
Classic Rock Revisited: There are rumors that the next Motörhead album will be all covers.
Lemmy: We did discuss it, but we haven't come to a concrete decision on it. It would be fun to do. The three of us are very different when it comes to music, so it would be a very diverse album. We'd make them all into Motörhead songs, anyway. We've done covers before.
Classic Rock Revisited: Do you have any new music?
Lemmy: Not yet. We will just go into the studio a month before we do the next album and just write.

Lowside Magazine
OK, I take my head outa' my a$$ for a moment and what do I discover (aside from the fact I'm a no-good-for-nothing-motorcycle-riding-lowlife), Lowside Magazine.
This biker rag is dope! Why has no one told me about this totally killer publication or the guys behind it? Hmph, I need new friends.
This is my kinda' mag. Based outa' Baltimore, Maryland, the folks who produce/publish it, live it and actually know WTF they're talking about.
This is one of the guys behind the madness, senior photographer Doug 'Q-ball' Barber. I'm sure you've seen his work.
Yep, he captured this classic moment in (biker) Americana history. You can see more of Barber's award winning pics (and Eddie Sorez Pliska's poetry) in his book 'Living the Life', documenting the biker lifestyle. Cyril Huze wrote a great review last March.
Back to the mag. Here's what Doug and his motley crew have to say about who they are and what they do. "With the roots of building and riding garage built suicide machines as a passion and print, design and photography as our trade, Lowside Syndicate was formed to offer the world it's efforts of expressing our art on wheels, in ink."
The folks at Dime City Cycle wrote a fantastic piece on Lowside and instead of me trying to pretend I didn't plagiarize the $hit out of it, I'm just gonna add a link to it.

Yep, that is one sweet T. Hey Q-ball, if you happen to read this I wear a large... wink wink, nudge nudge.

Anyplace Crazy As Anywhere Else
5 sleeps and counting (at least on this side of the pond).
Yep, Motörhead, will release "The Wörld Is Ours, Vol. II Anyplace Crazy As Anywhere Else" 10/22/2012.
Many will say it's just a re-packaging, re-hashing of "Everything We've Seen All Over Again" (Ha, I just made that up). I say screw that, and just tell the ol' lady / ol' man to pick it up for you for Christmas. Cause' it ain't cheap and (given how long it takes for shipping, you'll forget it's even on the way) it'll be a nice surprise under the tree.
Here's what you get.
A double CD packed with all the Motörhead material from "The Wörld Is Yours" tour. Hey, it's what every band does nowadays. Re-hash, re-package.
150 pages of what they describe as quote: "rare and unreleased photo material, stage shots and backstage impressions f the band, their road crew and the fans".
Here's what one website had to say about the guy who penned the coffee table paper weight. "Steffan Chirazi, editor of the Metallica Fan Club Magazine and independent author shares stories of his personal experiences with Motörhead and allows the reader to dig deeper into their daily routine, filled with anecdotes about the legendary rock'n'roll band."
You also get a BluRay DVD featuring performances from the 2011 Wacken Open Air as well as highlights from their shows at the Sonisphere Festival and Rock in Rio, Brazil.

The Man Behind Zero
Here's a great, short video on Shinya Kimura.
This sick beauty is called 'Spike' (it's featured in the video).
In case you don't know this cat, he's the Japanese born custom bike builder who co-founded Zero Engineering and has since opened Chabott Engineering.
3 words: Follow your dreams.

Motörmouse
I had to lift this pic (and the others) of Mickey Mouse and post them. Sadly, I have forgotten where I snagged it or I would give credit where credit is due.
And the creator deserves a lot of credit... I mean seriously, Metal Mickey kicks a$$.

Drink Fuck and Fight
I've been thinkin' of snaggin' a new wallet. Stands to reason this is the best seller!
I'm diggin' this Felon, 6-1/2" leather chain wallet. The DFF embroidered patch sewn on top, does exactly that... tops it off!
Check those killer T's (and plaid shirt). Love this site. Oh and while we're on the topic of DFF, here's a classic from Skarhead enjoy!
