Petagno's Brutal Legend Art Work Contest

Joe Petagno sent me an email today (08/10/09) informing me about his latest work of art. The email was straight forward and to the point.

Truth be known... I can't bloody believe I'm on Joe Petagno's mailing list.

Like holy frick, this is the same guy, who along with Lemmy, created Snaggletöoth! Not to mention every other Motörhead album cover and sleeve for over 25 years!

Now he's been commissioned by the folks at Brutal Legend to help them with a contest their running. This is what he created! Freakn' awesome!

Yes, jaw dropping and amazing in it's own right, but it's not just another Petagno master piece... no, no, no. It's a competition. You see, hidden in the ghoulish imagery inside the parameters of this oil on canvas, are a multitude of heavy metal images... the more you see the better your chances of winning.



This is the first prize. No, not a pic of Lemmy dude... the guitar!

A 'Tenacious D' Brütal Legend guitar, a PS3 and copy of the BL game.

Here's the game rules:
Dig the darkest depths of your rock knowledge to correctly identify tracks, bands and album covers, all inspired by the face-melting Brütal Legend soundtrack. There are a total of 50 answers, but if all that head banging has fried your brain then just give it your best shot. Let us know what you got, to be in with a chance of winning this awesome prize. Post your answers in the form on the right and let the Lords of metal determine your fate.
