Motörhead Tickets

Ladies and dirt bags I'm totally f#cking stoked! I've got my Motörhead tickets in hand and I can barely contain my jism!

Yes the Snaggletöothed hellions will be playing the River City this weekend in support of their newest release 'The World Is Yours'.

A good friend of mine was lucky enough to get her hands on a limited edition collectors pack and has been rubbing my face in it ever since. She saw the boys when they stopped in Cow Town.

Clutch is on the bill, but I've never heard of em'. According to their bio they play heavy metal, hard rock and stoner rock. Seriously... WTF is stoner rock? I mean, isn't that a reference to a metal ballad? They actually have their own category now. Lame!

The other band on the ticket is Valient Thorr Yep... never heard of em' either.

Truth be told... I don't give a rats a$$, cause I'll be in the line up for alcohol until Lemmy, Phil and Mikkey hit the stage.

This ain't that new... but it's frickin' good. James and the boys (with Jason Newsted on bass) rip it up, covering Motörhead's classic 'Overkill'.

While the woman on the left is wondering what Phil would look like in a bikini top and skirt (refer to post: Nice... Camouflage Bikini Top???), I can identify with the dude head bangin' in front. Party on Garth!

Yup... 'No Sleep 'till Moscow'. Here's a write-up on the band, posted on Petting Zoo Propaganda, from The Bulletin (Belgium) appropiately titled 'Louder, Motörhead live'.

The boys will spend the next two weeks in Germany, rippin' it up from Cologne to Berlin.

Sorry, but I never tire of that shot of Lemmy. You expect to see it mid-way through every show. It's as if he's about to say... "Loud enough for ya, mutha f%&kers!"

These were taken at the Motörhead gig at the Hammersmith Apollo, on 11/28/2009.

Here Lem is asking... "What the f%&k is Löst Jimmy doing in the balcony?" Sorry Jimmy, I'll blame that poke on writers block and the fact I was hurtin' for something witty to write... and the well was dry! Hopefully that poor attempt at humour on my part, will give you a chuckle and make you feel a little better ;)

That's not a usual pose for Phil... but given the company he keeps, he's certainly among friends with that salute.

I found this $hitty cell phone vid of the boys in Glasgow which I usually would never post.
