Top Bikes of 2009

With 09' in the books I thought I'd look back at the year that was in the world of 2-wheels.

The Triumph Street Triple R, according to motorcycle.com, took top prize. The publication named the Trump it's bike of the year. In my HO, a great choice!




But that's not how some riders feel. According to the mag's online readers of motorcycle.com, this is their top pick. Ya... a Honda CRF 50?!?!

However, and no real surprise here, in the standard category the H-D Sportster Nightster is #1.



motorcycleusa.com chose the BMW F800GS as its top bike. It's one kick a$$ machine for sure.

As for bikeexif, well this was their choice as top draw. That's right, they looked at page hits (as in the number of times some one read the article about a bike). Their editors say this BMW, the R7, got twice as many views as any other machine.

Sadly, they didn't include any air fresheners in their top products. I thought it was a great idea.
