Killer Traditional Tattoo Artist

If you're heading to Spain in the near future and lookin' to get a new tat (I know, I know, like what are the chances of that happening... 1-in-a-zillion), you may want to check out this artist.

His name is Javier Rodriguez. He calls Barcelona home.

This sparrow & key tat is one of my favourites.

This eagle & heart is dope as well. I love the way he mixes imagery, uses only a few colours and is true to classic design in every piece he creates. Awesome!

This is our team. The Murder City Maidens will take on the Babes of Thunder. The inaugural event is dubbed as: "60 hardcore minutes of full contact women's flat track roller derby action".

Golden Gods

When you've been around for as long as Lemmy Kilmister, (fronting the loudest band on the planet for 35 years and counting) you can wear the T-shirt "Been There Done That" and truly appreciate it's meaning.

So... it should come as no surprise that Lemmy has been honoured with this year's Revolver Golden Gods Lifetime Achievement Award.



Lemmy's buddy, Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Them Crooked Vultures) will present Lem with his hardware.

Motörhead is also up for the 'Best Live Band' award. Also in the running:

Rat-tastic Rods!

Two new creations from Rat Rod Studios.

This work of art is dubbed 'Montana Rat'. Looks more like a 'Franken Rat' to me.

This digital piece is called 'Better Red Than Dead'. Bob, the artists says: "It's a little play on words for those of you old enough to remember the Cold War".

Check it. I found this kick a$$ set of bars scouring the triple dub-ya.

The fabricator/designer is Kilby Deuce. I love it when I discover a builder who has decided to take the road less travelled. His stuff is innovative, trend setting and need-less to say... very frickin' cool!

Like these 8 Second bars. These one-of-a-kind beauties would make any scoot that much sweeter!

Love Smack - Derby Style

It was dubbed... the 'Love Smack'.

The Lincolnshire Bombers Roller Girls team played host to a tourney 02/13/2010 at Newark Showgrounds. I've featured the team in previous posts and if you'd like more info search the Motörheadster.

The header says it all: "ass kickin, skate lickin, fishnet wearin, bruise comparin bitches on wheels"

Not sure how the girls faired... but no matter. Go Bombers!
