JoMo Racing

There's a new playa on the custom motorcycle scene. All right, all right... they're not that new, but their website is!

And she's pretty cool. JoMo Racing is based out of sunny California and the brains behind the JoMo shop are Denver Dan, Brandon Holstein and Scott Parker.

Mark Kawakami of Joyrides Art Co. built the company's site. I've featured Marks incredible work before (refer to post: Joyrides that won't get ya 3 to 5 years!).

I may be wrong, but I believe the shop began as 'British American Motors' and Bill Johnson changed the name to Johnson Motors Incorporated circa 1940.

And I believe JoMo was the name the company used on the racing circut.

The one thing I am sure of... is that Bud Ekins (yes the famous stuntman and Triumph racer) was one of the riders in the stable of racers sponsored by JoMo Racing.
.
.
Motofoto has a page dedicated to Ekins and believe me you, it's worth your time to check it out. I could devote the rest of this post to Bud, I'll save that for another day.

As for JoMo... they build bikes and manufacture custom parts for new Triumph Motorcycles.

From what I am lead to believe, Brandon is the main who wrenches and builds the unique sleds.
.

The boys say Triumph officially support the shop and is behind the project.

With these awesome lookin' scoots, who wouldn't be?
